TOTO’s Ultramax II Toilet Seat and Flushing Systems

If you are thinking about buying a new toilet for your house then the most likely candidate for your money is Toto. They are one of the most popular international brands and manufacturers of bathroom equipment. Established in 1917, Toto now has over 100 years of expertise in creating and manufacturing high-end bathrooms and toilet equipment. In recent years Toto has been responsible for designing and manufacturing the Washlet, a revolutionary toilet seat with bidet style water jets, heated seats, and multiple built-in drying systems so you never have to do away with wet toilet paper at home. While Toto do produce traditional style toilet seats, the Washlet is an original bidet style seat.

The Toto Washlet has an innovative double flush feature that does away with the old practice of only flushing the toilet with cold water. By doing this, they are reducing the amount of water that is wasted each flush and are able to save around twenty five percent on conventional toilet tank designs. The dual flush feature is achieved through the use of a “dryer” located either on the wall or within the toilet tank itself. The dryer draws warm water from the bottom of the tank and sends it through a tube to a thermostatically controlled flap located on the surface of the toilet tank itself. This flaps open automatically when you flush, ensuring that there is less water waste and a minimal amount of water that seeps into the floor space.

One of Toto’s best toto toilet products is their i-Flush range, which uses two separate and independent flushes to ensure that the person who is flushing the toilet is not inconvenienced while doing so. For example, one flush is for the water level on the toilet floor and the other for clearing the waste. The integrated toilet seats also make this process easier. By incorporating both flushes into one, you can imagine how much easier it would be to fully clean up afterwards. The i-Flush range is Toto’s most advanced product features and is particularly useful as a result of the way it keeps your hands free.

One of the biggest criticisms of Toto toilets is the toilet seat height. This is especially true of the Toilet Plus range, where most models are around fifteen inches in height. This is significantly shorter than competitors, who often have toilet seats half a foot higher. The Toilet Plus is also a few inches lower than competing brands, meaning that it may not be the best choice if you need to choose a toilet for a young child.

TOTO have also produced toilet models in the Toilet Comfort Height range. The toilets in this range offer a low sitting position, but they are taller than the competition, which means that this is more comfortable for children. Although they look similar to the traditional toilet seats, the difference is that the bottom of the toilet bowl moves up to fill the basket on top, rather than remaining flat like the toilet seats from other brands. This means that it offers more comfort when using the toilet.

It’s not all plain sailing though. TOTO are still yet to manufacture a whole range of complete flushing systems. Although their Ultramax II range is already out, there is no confirmation when that will happen. If it’s any comfort to buyers looking for a long term answer, it will only be a matter of time before TOTO bring out something for the whole family.
